The Sunday Salon: 1/17/10

The Sunday Salon.com

Well, I’ve been back in classes for two weeks and I’ve been very busy with those. Between my classes, all of the reading I have to do for these classes, and my job, I barely have time to eat and sleep, let alone do anything else.

I’m slowly working my way through The Fellowship of the Ring still. Mostly I’ve been reading my textbooks. My classes this quarter are Intro to Middle Schools, Literacy, Educational Psychology, and Ancient Roman History. I really like them all so far (except for psych, haha).

Anyway, just thought I’d let you all know I’m still alive. Have a great week, everyone! &hearts

  1. Hello, Stephanie! Just stumbled across your blog and I am really very impressed! I feel an instant connection with you (ha!) because…. l. my daughter is Stephanie 2. I was a teacher for many years, but I'm now home happily playing soccer mom/taxi driver 3. I absolutely swooned when I saw your reading list for 2010! OMG — my favs!!!! Madame Bovary, Jane Eyre, Frankenstein, oh, just too many to name them all here! Looks like you're going to have a fabulous reading year ahead! Good luck to you in your experiences in the classroom, too!

  2. I take it you're not very taken with Fellowship either. 🙂 And I agree, psychology textbooks can be a bit tedious…And I can't believe the post a comment thing is actually present and working! o.O It normally doesn't. Anyway, hello from a fellow book-obsessive, history fan and aspiring writer! Nice blog! 🙂
