Blogging from A to Z, Road Trip Wednesday

C: Characters as Travel Companions

RTWRoad Trip Wednesday is a ‘Blog Carnival,’ where YA Highway‘s contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question that begs to be answered. In the comments, you can hop from destination to destination and get everybody’s unique take on the topic.

We’d love for you to participate! Just answer the prompt on your own blog and leave a link – or, if you prefer, you can include your answer in the comments.

This Week’s Topic: If you could visit any country with a fictional character as your guide, who would you pick and where would you go?

I had to think about this one for a minute, but I’m thinking it would be pretty fun to go to Italy with Celaena Sardothien from Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas, because we would probably appreciate the same things: the history, the food, the culture, the shopping…

And if she brought Dorian and/or Chaol with her, that would be okay, too.

  1. Strangely, I was just at another blog with the same question. I’d still take Princeling George from my stories, but I think we’d visit Ireland since he’s not been there, and he can test out whether the grass is really greener there.
    Happy A to Z-ing!

  2. I’ve never read Throne of Glass but she sounds like a great character. I take it her friends are also of interest. 🙂

  3. It sounds like you would have a pretty awesome trip with that guide and her (I’m assuming hot) friends! That is a really fun prompt. I’d like to tour the south of France with Gingembre from Gone to Soldiers.
