I added 600 words to FIRE, which was exciting given how little time I spent at home this week.
My Goals For This Week
- add 2500 words to FIRE
- add 1000 words to OPAQUE
A (Few) Line(s) From My WIP
They arrested my mother in the early evening, when people were returning home from the day’s work. The streets were full, and everyone who hadn’t witnessed my mother being escorted to the cells might as well have, since the stories quickly spread through the city. It was obvious that Alastar had wanted to wave this victory of his like a banner proclaiming his victory in the battle between him and my mother.
The Biggest Challenge I Faced This Week
Back to school started kicking into gear right as I got back from vacation, so I was basically only home to sleep last week (or, at least, that’s what it felt like). So mostly I was trying to write even though I was exhausted.
Something I Love About My WIP
When I did sit down to write, things flowed pretty easily. I may have floundered through the entire middle part of this draft, but it was all worth it to get to the end, which is the part I’m most excited to write.
